Rest, Restore, and Replant with Ettitude
Our long-time partners at Ettitude are supporting SeaTrees this World Mangrove Day to restore coastal ecosystems by planting 10 mangrove trees for each sheet set purchased.
Ettitude is helping to plant and restore the critical mangrove forest ecosystems in Laguna San Ignacio, at our SeaTrees planting project in Mexico. Climate change is already affecting Laguna San Ignacio ecosystems and communities. Sea levels are currently rising, along with the high tides present in Laguna San Ignacio, generating erosion.
Red mangroves offer the first protection barrier for this coastal region. These trees protect against strong currents and other environmental factors, also creating a safe haven for many critically endangered species. The seedling planting done in Laguna San Ignacio helps combat these issues while supporting the local community.
So join Ettitude from July 18th - 27th, as they plant 10 mangrove trees in Baja California Sur for each sheet set sold in honor of World Mangrove Day.
