On an unseasonably warm day in early March, we made the trip down from San Francisco to meet with the crew at Route One Surfboards in Monterrey.
Factories making high-performance surfboards are synonymous with the aroma of polyester resin. Not Route One’s. All of their boards are crafted with low-VOC Entropy bio-resin. They’re also recycling used surfboards and planting SeaTrees in Indonesia.
Do you use Awayco? You may have noticed that when booking a surfboard you’re given the option to “Plant A SeaTree” at checkout.
Awayco was the first brand to offer this feature. In a very short period, thousands of their members around the world have chosen to plant a SeaTree when Awayco’ing boards.
